Fees & Rebates

The Medicare rebate for Psychology is $86.15 per session. A referral from one of the following professionals is required to access the Medicare rebate;

• GP (with a Mental Health Care Plan)
• Psychiatrist
• Paediatrician

Hobart Counselling Centre is not a bulk bill practice. Your GP will be able to advise you of available no-cost options in your area.

Payments can be made as follows:

• EFTPOS (Cheque, Savings, or Credit)

Private Health Insurance

Full payment of session costs will need to be made at the end of each session. You will be provided with a receipt, which you can use to claim on your private health insurance. Any rebate for your Health Fund will be subject to your personal cover.

Cancellation Policy

Hobart Counselling Centre has a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. The full fee of the appointment is applicable if a cancellation occurs with less than 48 hours’ notice.
