About our Clinic
Hobart Child and Adolescent Counselling Clinic provides counselling and psychotherapy services for behavioural, social and emotional difficulties in children, adolescents and their families.
The Clinic supports children, adolescents and families to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives with an emphasis on the quality of family relationships and the importance these relationships have on the wellbeing of children and adolescents. The Centre uses evidence-based interventions and recommended therapeutic methods to achieve the best results for children and their families. Approaches include; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Play Therapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, Art and Creative Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness Practice.

The Clinic welcomes enquiries and referrals from Psychiatrists, General Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and Community-based agencies.
The Centre’s Clinical Team are experienced specialists in child and adolescent mental health, are registered with their respective professional bodies and undertake ongoing professional development and research in their areas of specialty.
